He was last seen inside Unicron, melting in a vat of acid. In Transformers: The Movie, Reflector very briefly appeared during the Battle of Autobot City. His separate bodies never had individual names. In the 1984 Transformers cartoon series, Reflector was always referred to as a single being, despite nearly always appearing as a trio. Muscular rear silver skid plates, Side molding - Black, Rear Center garnish - Reflector connected type, Piano black Delta. When Reflector's component bodies combine, they transform into a camera. When things go wrong, he'll always be the first to suggest retreat and then blame his comrades when Megatron's wrath comes down upon them. He's both moronic and lazy, requiring the other Reflector brothers to motivate him. Spectro joined Skywarp and his fellow Reflector. When Megatron was snatched into space by the Keepers, Spectro refused to fall into line behind Starscream as the new Decepticon commander. Spectro was part of Megatron's crew, active on Earth in the 1980's before the Ark II incident. Spectro - Spectro can hardly be considered capable of independence. Events from The Transformers Trilogy novels are in italics.Spyglass - Always willing to follow any absurd scheme that Viewfinder cooks up, and often having to pressure Spectro into helping. His main weakness is his crushing arrogance. He constantly schemes to advance the Decepticon cause and to blackmail his allies. Viewfinder - The brains of the Reflector trio when they operate independently.Above all else, Reflector is a master extortionist, watching and listening closely to his comrades in order to learn whatever dark secrets they might be hiding so that he/they can profit from them. He/they act as (a) spy/spies and observer(s), surveying alien landscapes and Autobot activities. The three separate bodies of Reflector all think, speak and act with one mind, talking in unison and combining with each other to transform into their alternate mode. Also, there's most definitely a loose rubsign floating in that bag!Īnd going back to the missile tree: it seems the injection points are way off, compared to the real deal as shown here.Īll these pointers are based only on the vague photo's in the item description however, my assessment of this item is that is is, unfortunately, most probably a KO.Reflector is a walking, talking package deal: three Decepticons in one (or one Decepticon in three, it would seem). And it looks like there's a tell-tale extra label sheet under the first one, with the factory applied labels. The labelsheet included in the bag looks like a KO sheet: it is too wide: wider than an original labelsheet. Harder to be sure, but it looks like the plastic mix in arms on Viewfinder is swirly: also a give away for a KO, considering the arms on an original Viewfinder are uniformly gray. His g1 tech spec doesn't make any reference to combination, but are there any ads or pamphlets (like the STARS mailaway pamphlet. Secondly, there are no factory applied labels visible (REFLE-CTOR, or even MIC-ROX). Also, in the Dreamwave MTMTE profiles book, Viewfinder is lumped in with the other combiners in his abilities section, so that's even more evidence of official/semi-official sanction of Reflector being a combiner. First of all, while the box seems real, the foam insert looks too new and too crude (large styrofoam pellets). Also, the box in the photo has yellowed tape: a KO box would look a bit newer. As far as I can tell, the missiles on the KO are slimmer the ones in the photo's look to be original width. First of all the photo's in the item description are vague. ![]() ![]() Mine hit all the right marks for the genuine real G1 deal (not even a Microx version). To be sure of what I was getting, this 4-part eBay Guide was extremely useful, as was HighendTF's.com. As was agreed to by both me and the seller, he did come in a newly made tray designed for the knock off Reflector. Click to expand.I recently bought a mint genuine Reflector as well, from a member right here on TFW.
